Coronavirus Precautions

At Orentreich Medical Group, the health and well being of our staff and patients is our top priority. As we emerge from self-isolation, we want to assure you that we are taking additional measures to ensure your safety by instituting the following guidelines:

We have reduced the number of patients we are seeing each day. Appointments have been spread out to minimize the need to use our waiting room.

Only patients with a scheduled appointment will be allowed into our office.

In order to ensure social distancing, patients will not be allowed into our office until 15 minutes prior to their appointment time.

All patients will be pre-screened for symptoms of Covid-19 during a confirmation call the day prior to a scheduled appointment and upon entering our office. A NO TOUCH temperature check will also be taken upon arrival.

Clear plexiglass sneeze guard shields have been added to the check-in and check-out desk.

Patients must be unaccompanied. Only minors and physically challenged patients may have a companion with them at their appointment. The companion will also have a no touch temperature check upon arrival.

The patient and their approved companion must arrive wearing a face covering and keep it on for the duration of their visit, unless instructed by the practitioner to remove it for treatment. Our staff is also required to wear a face covering at all times.

Upon arrival, a patient will be required to use hand sanitizer that we will provide. When a patient enters the exam room, they will be asked to wash their hands with soap and water prior to touching any surface.

An Antiseptic wipe will be supplied to clean a mobile phone if there is any chance it will be used during a visit.

Patient treatment rooms are cleaned before and after every encounter. Common areas in our office are cleaned throughout the day.

To comply with regulations, our beverage service has been temporarily discontinued.

In addition, we are screening our employee’s daily for symptoms of Covid-19 and we continue to train our staff on infection control and the proper use of personal protective equipment.

If you are not yet comfortable traveling to NYC, we will continue scheduling TELEHEALTH appointments using a computer or smart phone.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 212-794-0800 .

We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
